
In order to expedite the construction process of the Bo-Mattru Jong Road, the Chief Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa, has paid a visit to Queen Elizabeth the second Quay to assess the equipment which is to be used for the said project.
The Chief Minister together with other government officials stormed the shores of Queen Elizabeth the Second Quay to inspect equipment meant for the construction of the Bo-Mattru Jong Road. The visitation was also an opportunity for the Chief Minister to interface with officials of Maripoma Enterprise Limited_ the company that won the contract.
The equipment which comprises track excavators, backhoe Loader, Motor Grader, track-type tractors, vibratory soil compactors, and trailers among others was considered suitable by officials present.
According to the Country Director of Maripoma Enterprise Limited, Mahama Ayariga, they are well prepared for the commencement of the work. They only await the turning of the sod.
The Chief Minister, Jacob Jusu Saffa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensure that the Bo-Mattru Jong Road is speedily constructed.
