The sit-down strike by medical doctors has entered its fourth day.
The doctors are demanding the reinstatement of their forty litters of fuel per week, and other allowances they say they are entitled to.
After some intense negotiations, the Ministry agreed to offer 20. 85 billion Leones as salary increase and 9.3 billion Leones to cover the 45 liters of fuel weekly, but the Association says the Finance Ministry did not adequately address their concerns.
SLBC’s Mohamed Koroma has been monitoring the situation across different hospitals in Freetown.
