David Sengeh releases 2022 WASSCE results

The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education Dr. David Moinina Sengeh reports that results of the 2021 -2022 West African Senior Secondary Education “WASCE” Examination have brought a significant increase in the number of passes as compared to 2018 and with the best two candidates being female candidates from private schools.

The Minister said the success of the result is attributed to the government’s free quality education by ensuring that over 3.5 million core textbooks in English and Math were distributed in different schools nationwide, improvement of learning materials, recruitment of trained and qualified teachers, provision of safer school environments and the introduction of digital technology in schools.
