UNDP and MFMR donated 200 solar freezers to women’s cooperative groups working in aquaculture and fishing.
The United Nations Development Programme {UNDP} in Sierra Leone together with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources has commenced the distribution of two hundred solar freezers to Women’s Cooperative Groups in the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector across the country.
The move is aimed to ease the challenge of access to energy for women in the fishing industry.
